FourFour is the only app on the iPhone that offers an option to pause your exercise session while you breathe.
The app allows you to pause, pause, or pause and rewind the video and record a pause for later, if needed.
This feature is similar to what we saw with AirBnb and other breathing apps like Jawbone Up.
The problem with this feature is that it’s a little hard to remember to pause while you’re exercising.
That said, the feature can be used as a quick way to pause during your exercise sessions, if you’re already at a loss for what to do with yourself.
We found that we could pause to take in breath while doing a full-body workout or for a quick meditation session, and then resume breathing in the middle of an exercise session.
We could also pause to check in on our breathing while performing other tasks, such as doing a yoga pose or reading.
The feature is also handy if you need to quickly review a list of exercise exercises while you do something else, like doodling.
The fact that the feature works while you are exercising should be enough to get you started, but it can be useful if you want to make sure you have time to review your workout and keep your mind on the task at hand.
It also means you’ll likely find that you’ll never need to pause for more than a minute or two while you exercise.
